What’s the “all in cost” of dancing at Dance Classics of Murfreesboro? This is a question we hear often from prospective families looking for a studio for their dancer. At Dance Classics, this answer is pretty simple. Each family pays a one-time $25 registration fee upon enrolling for classes. All classes are $55 monthly (except for our competition team) and are discounted the more classes your family takes. Students are invited, not required, to showcase what they’ve learned to their family and friends in a season-end recital which takes place in late May or early June. Recital costumes ranged between $55 and $80 last season which included a new pair of tights. Additionally, there is no recital or participation fee! Rather, we charge a low ticket fee to each recital guest. That’s it!

Being a member of the Dance Classics’ “family” does not only provide excellent dance training, but provides many other opportunities throughout the dance year. Dance Classics hosts several themed parties for its students free of charge such as our beloved Princess Tea Party for our younger dancers and Movie and Pizza Night for our older dancers.

Our dancers also have the opportunity to perform a choreographed dance at an Men’s MTSU Basketball game. In addition, students from Dance Classics are invited to perform at Assisted Living homes and local churches in the area. Rehearsals for these events are free of charge. These types of events give our dancers the chance to provide entertainment and joy to members of the community and allows the students to share their love of dance with others.

We get a good number of phone calls from people inquiring about the total financial cost of enrolling for classes at Dance Classics. We feel that the cost of dance lessons should not “break the bank”. Dancers and their families should be able to enjoy high-quality dance education from qualified instructors for a reasonable yearly tuition as well as partake in other fun and meaningful dance-related activities.
